Wilderness Trail Distillery uses a sweet mash process to produce its Wheated Bourbon, High-Rye Bourbon and Rye Whiskey. The Danville distillery was established in 2012 by Shane Baker and Dr. Pat Heist, who began their journey in the industry by selling yeast and offering lab analysis industrywide. Today, the distillery is the 14th largest in the country. Tours are offered five days a week.
