Discover one of America's most fascinating first ladies during a visit to her girlhood home. Mary Lincoln, the wife of President Abraham Lincoln, grew up in this house and later brought her husband and children to visit her family here. Today the home contains period furniture, portraits and furnishings. Self-guided and guided tours are offered. After the tour, visitors may visit the museum store or small garden. Located in the heart of downtown Lexington, the museum is within walking distance of local hotels and restaurants.
